Joe Gomez has more than 32 years of civil engineering, transportation planning, design engineering, and construction experience. He has managed and directed large-scale transportation projects including major multi-level interchanges, arterial corridors and bridge replacements.
Joe is responsible for client management, scope development, and contract negotiations and strategic planning. In addition, he serves as the Director of Construction Services.
Joe spent 10 years with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) - District Six in various capacities: as District PD&E Engineer, District Construction Engineer, and District Director of Operations in charge of all construction and maintenance on the State highway system for Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. Joe is also a construction dispute resolution expert, having served on several Dispute Review Boards for FDOT and Miami-Date Expressway Authority. Joe has extensive experience in public and community involvement; inter-agency coordination; and the design of traffic management systems.
