Chwen Siripocanont is the General Manager for T.Y. Lin International China’s Mobility, Planning, and Management Line of Business.
With more than 30 years of project experience in the U.S. and Asia, Chwen has managed and directed all phases of transportation projects ranging from planning, analysis, alternative development, and evaluation phases to the preparation of design plans and bid documents through construction services.
Chwen is responsible for leading the strategic implementation of sustainable and smart transportation solutions such as high occupancy toll (HOT) lanes; integrated land use and transportation planning; Personal Rapid Transit (PRT); Complete Streets; and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) technologies.
Chwen presently serves as General Manager for T.Y. Lin International China’s Mobility, Planning, and Management Line of Business drawing global resources focusing on business development and project deliveries in China. A senior advisor, Ms. Siripocanont has served as a member of expert review panels and value analysis consultant for municipalities and transportation authorities responsible for roadway and transit systems, port authorities, and airports in the US and abroad. Chwen is a member of Women in Transportation Seminar (WTS). She is a past President of the South Bay Chapter of Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), Northern California chapter of International Chinese Transportation Professional Association (ICTPA) and the East Bay chapter of American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). Chwen was named Woman of the Year by WTS in 2003.
