Our Tampines Hub
TYLin was the civil and structural designer for Our Tampines Hub, an integrated community, lifestyle, and recreational facility for the Tampines Town Hub community in Tampines, Singapore.
Our Tampines Hub has a gross floor area of approximately 121,600 square metres and houses a football pitch, a multi-purpose sports hall, a Performing Arts Centre, a regional library, an atrium, an eco-community roof park, food and retail stores, and recreational facilities.
The design for the development prioritizes diverse activities and inclusiveness. The “no-barrier” layout of the facility creates open environment that provides easy access for all users. Spaces are also positioned to cater to a wide variety of uses and age groups.
Project Highlights:
- TYLI was responsible for the civil and structural design and construction supervision of the entire complex, including the town square, the town hall, the retrofitting of the old sports hall, and the one-stop service mall.
- A distinct feature is the eco-community roof park, which is equipped with a rainwater harvesting system for greenery around and within the roof park.
