As prime designer, TYLin provided architecture, civil, site, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services for this 165,000 sq ft Amazon warehouse with an added 13,000 sq ft office space and designed all electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The design showcases a robust concrete and steel structure. The center, sprawled across 73 acres, caters to 840 vans and 360 cars, facilitating swift "last mile" deliveries in Rochester. TYLin's multidisciplinary services expedited the project, earning acclaim and future engagements with Amazon.

TYLin provided full design services for ProAmpac’s (a flexible packaging company), innovation center. Phase I entailed evaluation and concept design. Phase II provided design for a 24,000 sq ft addition and renovation of 10,000 sq ft of existing space. The center hosts clients, fosters idea sessions, and offers flexible spaces for training and engagement. 

TYLin’s Lightweight Structures Group designed an additional penthouse story with glass walls mimicking a billboard, folding bleachers, cable suspended walls, and stairs.  

TYLin leads design and construction for the North Aud Block's inaugural building in Canalside. The 14,300 sq ft, neo-traditional, 4-story mixed-use building will serve as a local site office for Empire State Development and features workshops, visitor centers, offices, and a rooftop terrace with solar panels. The $12M project underwent extensive community review.

TYLin is leading the design and construction of this 3.4 acre plaza revitalization project in downtown Rochester. The plaza has been transformed into a public, urban riverfront space offering riverfront views, park seating, a public promenade, landscaping, and green park space connecting it to the Genesee Riverway Trail. multiple levels relate to the shape of the underground parking garage that lies beneath it. TYLin designed the new ADA accessible pedestrian fly-over bridge that connects Bragdon Place to the main path on the Genesee River's west side. 

TYLin designed this storage shed for Battery Park City using cellular polycarbonate, steel and concrete.

TYLin provided comprehensive design and engineering services for the South Carolina Aeronautical Training Center in North Charleston. Situated on a 62-acre site, the state-of-the-art facility features hangars, classrooms, labs, and offices, supporting aerospace and manufacturing training. Achieving Green Globes certification, the project showcases sustainable practices across site design, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering.

The new, 2-sory, 18553 sf building addition includes a Gymnasium, (3) Science Labs, Concession Stand room, Toilet/ Locker Rooms, Referee Locker Room/ Toilet Room, Weight Room, Training Room, Gym Teacher’s Office, and other storage and mechanical Spaces. TYLin was responsible for overall project management, planning, design, bidding, value engineering, and construction administration.  TYLin provided, code compliance, civil engineering, structural, architectural and MEP design.

TYLin in partnership with PLAN Architectural Design Studio, and LeChase Construction transformed the historic Rochester Savings Bank into the Center for Urban Entrepreneurship for Rochester Institute of Technology. This project revives downtown roots, preserving a National Historic Landmark with stunning Byzantine architecture. The center houses classrooms, meeting rooms, and academic support facilities. TYLin provided M/E/P engineering, structural engineering, and architectural support.

TYLin revamped BonaDent Dental Laboratories' Seneca Falls world headquarters, renovating a 70,000-sf commercial space into a modern facility. Offering architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services, TYLin collaborated with DKM Interiors for interior design. The project showcases a contemporary aesthetic, accommodating dental labs, training areas, and support offices.

TYLin, served as prime designer on this design-build project to build a 644,659-sf, 1.825 space parking structure with an elevated pedestrian bridge at the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. The eight-level structure includes below-grade valet parking, ventilation systems, and heating elements. The 100-foot pedestrian bridge connects the garage to the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital.

TYLin was retained by NYS OPRHP for a multi-year term agreement for the Niagara Falls State Park Transformation Initiative, a comprehensive capital rehabilitation and improvement plan (completed 2018), and a separate multi-year term agreement for the new Visitor Center. TYLin’s responsibilities include overall program management and project management involving the following disciplines: site and civil engineering, landscape architecture, architecture, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, environmental engineering, electrical and mechanical engineering, code compliance, and surveying. 

TYLin’s Lightweight Structures Group designed the Brenton Skating Facility using a curved cold formed cellular polycarbonate on steel frame.

TYLin collaborated with DHD Ventures to revitalize 88 Elm Street, converting a vacant 14-story office building into a modern mixed-use development. The project features luxury apartments, retail spaces, and penthouse offices with a rooftop deck.  TYLin provided full design services including architectural, interior design, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil/site, and code compliance. design services including a sleek glass facade and interior connections to Midtown Parking Garage. 

TY Lin International managed architectural and engineering aspects for the Greenwood Integrated Living mixed-use project, comprising three three-story buildings totaling 200,000 square feet. Mercantile spaces occupied the first floors, while residential units filled the upper levels. TYLI handled structural, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and architectural design, ensuring ADA and code compliance. 

TYLin was retained by the Chicago Department of Water Management to modernize the Central Park Pumping Station, originally built in 1899. Converting from steam to electric pumps, the project includes building renovations, HVAC upgrades, and life safety enhancements. Careful coordination ensures operational continuity and safety, exemplifying TYLin's expertise. 

In the burgeoning Purdue Research Park of West Lafayette, a unique infrastructure building stands as a pioneer among future tech structures. Architects crafted it not as a conventional pump station but as a vision for the park's architectural future. Clad in textured metal panels and stainless steel, it awaits integration into its vibrant surroundings.

TYLin leads the development of the Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and Preliminary Engineering for the Red Line Extension (RLE) project, expanding Chicago Transit Authority's Red Line to 130th Street. The TYLin team is responsible for developing the conceptual design to produce the Final EIS for FTA review and determination for a ROD, 30% plans and specifications, estimates of construction cost, and supporting the CTA in development of Bridging Procurement documents for an alternative delivery procurement. Project includes four new stations at 103rd Street, 111th Street, Michigan Avenue, and 130th Street and six new substations.

TYLin assists IndyGo in developing a Zero Emission Transition Plan for its buses and vehicles, aiming to reach near-zero emissions. The plan includes expanding electric vehicle capacity, constructing a new facility, and evaluating costs and environmental impacts. Recommendations will be based on current conditions and future service plans, with projected budgets and schedules.

TYLin is working with Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC-SNV) to develop concepts to transition the Sunset and Integrated Base Maintenance Facilities to BEB, FCEB, or mixed zero-emission vehicle fleet. TYLin is also evaluating the conversion of RTC-SNV’s paratransit and non-revenue vehicle fleet to zero emissions.
