T.Y. Lin International Hires John M. Young as Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice President
T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announced today that John M. Young has been named Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice President. Young will be responsible for the strategic vision and leadership in the development and implementation of company-wide Information Technology (IT) programs for TYLI’s USA operations, as well as assisting the international operations of the company.
With 20 years of global IT experience in leading technology teams, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and building systems infrastructure, including projects in subsidiaries and departments of Fortune 500 companies, Young joins TYLI from AECOM. Reporting to TYLI’s Chief Financial Officer, Tony Peterson, Young will also interact closely with TYLI leadership in order to support the firm in identifying and securing opportunities to increase TYLI’s service capabilities, revenues and profitability. In addition, he will also work with leadership and IT personnel of TYLI’s sister companies for the purpose of coordinating joint IT infrastructure. His new role also makes him responsible for the ongoing IT support of TYLI’s operations in the areas of Engineering Design, Project Management Tools and Network efficiencies.

Young received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina.
