Lindbergh & Associates, a T.Y. Lin International Company, Hires Ronald A. Hill, P.E., as Structural Group Leader
T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces that Ronald A. (Ron) Hill, P.E., has joined Lindbergh & Associates, a T.Y. Lin International Company, as Structural Group Leader. In his role, Hill will be responsible for group leadership, project management, and the design of major and minor buildings and special structures.
Hill comes to TYLI with 40 years of experience in the design and evaluation of structural steel frames and buildings per the latest codes; concrete beam, column, and slab structures; concrete spread footing/mat foundations; steel and concrete pile foundations; and crane and monorail structural systems. He also has extensive expertise in the design and evaluation of aboveground storage tanks, pressure vessels (including nuclear containment design), water storage tanks, and storage bins and silos. Worldwide projects have included industrial facilities, large building and railroad car weighing system foundations, structures associated with fossil fuel power plants, piping and high-temperature pumping systems, and overhead material handling equipment and load assist devices.

Hill is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, New Jersey, Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Ohio, Kentucky, Texas, New York (pending), and Washington State. He received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Hill is an active member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).
