Veronica Fennie Joins T.Y. Lin International as Chief Accounting Officer and Associate Vice President

T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announced today that Veronica Fennie has been named Chief Accounting Officer, Associate Vice President. Fennie will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions for the firm.

Fennie brings over 25 years of experience overseeing all aspects of accounting and finances for architectural and engineering firms. Most recently, she served as Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Committee for LFR Inc., an environmental consulting company. Following LFR’s acquisition by ARCADIS US Inc. in 2008, she served as Project Manager and Director of Finance, overseeing the integration of the company’s accounting and finance systems.

Fennie also worked for several years as an independent financial consultant in San Francisco, providing financial data analysis and developing accounting strategies for a variety of small and midsize organizations, both in the United States and abroad. In this capacity she helped streamline accounting systems and upgraded project management reporting to provide accurate and complete financial details to senior management. Her projects included implementing an accounting system for an architecture firm in Mexico City and translating the existing software into Spanish.

Prior to moving to San Francisco in 1985, Fennie worked for the grain export industry in Houston, TX, and for the Secretary of Commerce at the Mexican Institute of Foreign Trade in Mexico City.

“We are honored that Veronica has joined our team,” said Tony Peterson, TYLI’s Chief Financial Officer. “Her depth of knowledge of the accounting and financial industries, client-focused approach, and demonstrated abilities at growing organizations, makes her a powerful asset to TYLI and the clients that we serve.”

Fennie received her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico. A multi-lingual speaker, she is a member of the Bay Area Financial Officers Group and American Management Association.
