T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, has won the 2012 Gold Quill Award from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) for its website (www.tylin.com) in the Interactive Media Design category. IABC’s annual Gold Quill Awards program honors the best of the best in business communication, offering professional and student communicators the opportunity to have their work evaluated by expert judges. This year’s competition received nearly 550 entries from 22 countries. The T.Y. Lin International Group Website was the only entry selected for an award in the Interactive Media Design category. TYLI received the Award at the Gold Quill Awards gala held on June 25, 2012 at the IABC 2012 World Conference in Chicago, IL.

The winners went through two rigorous rounds of judging by top senior communicators from around the world. Entries were judged on technical excellence; creativity and innovation; effectiveness in identifying and responding to an organization’s or community’s needs; the delivery of measurable outcomes; and the overall success of the project. Final selections were made by the Gold Quill Awards Blue Ribbon Panel of judges at the IABC world headquarters in San Francisco in March. This year’s Blue Ribbon Panel included judges from the U.S., U.K., Australia, Canada, China, Mexico, and Russia.

The TYLI Group website, which launched in September 2011, illustrates the depth and breadth of TYLI Group’s services and its magnitude of global projects. The design dramatically highlights hundreds of projects, spanning seven market sectors, 11 service types, and 53 offices, all fully displayed in a filterable portfolio. The site’s exterior is supported by a solid foundation in a Content Management System which is robust enough to keep the entire site up to date in both English and Chinese. TYLI Director of Corporate Communications, Maribel Castillo, said, “We are very proud and honored to receive IABC’s 2012 Gold Quill Award. It’s very exciting to be selected by an international panel of judges across different industries. This award underscores our website’s effectiveness in reaching a global audience.” For more information about the 2012 Gold Quill Awards competition, please visit IABC's website.
