T.Y. Lin International Announces Completion of BART Silicon Valley Phase I Extension

T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces that the new Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) extension from the Warm Springs Station in Fremont, California, to northern San Jose has opened as of June 13, 2020. TYLI, in a joint venture as lead designer, provided engineering design services for Phase 1 of the $2.3 billion project. The firm worked with the lead agency, Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA), and BART on design review and approval for this design-build contract.

The "Queens Ribbon" - A New Bridge for the Millennium

The “Queens Ribbon,” a concept design for the first new bridge to Manhattan’s central business district in over a century, was unveiled today by a consortium of NYU Tandon School of Engineering, T.Y. Lin International, and Sam Schwartz Engineering. The pedestrian-bicycle bridge would connect Queens to Manhattan.

Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces the completion of Los Angeles World Airports’ (LAWA) Utility and Landside Access Modernization Program Enabling Project (LULEP) at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) following the successful delivery of 38 different projects over the past three years. The $300 million design-build contract enabled LAWA’s ongoing $5.5 billion Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP) at LAX in Los Angeles, California. TYLI served as the prime design engineer for LULEP.
