Capital Square (also called Cap Square) is part of a mammoth, billion dollar development modeled after the concept of a “city within city”. The location of the development is on 60,702 square meters of land along on the bank of the Klang River. The first development phase included a 40-story office tower and a 3-level basement parking garage, which were successfully completed in 1994.
- Featuring two transfer systems, the ‘A’ frame transfer at level 7 provides the ‘key hole’ feature. In addition, the circular core below this transfer level is smaller than the rectangular core at the upper levels.
- The entire tower sits on 32-meter post-tensioned perimeter transfer girders, supported by four columns on each side.
