TYLin served as Prime Consultant to develop roadway and utility improvements in the Town of Paradise Valley, Arizona.

The improvements were designed to accommodate over 100 acres of new development, including a 200-room Ritz-Carlton resort, private residences, upscale retail, and fine dining.

As Prime Designer, TYLin’s scope of work included preparing construction documents to upgrade approximately 2.5 miles of multiple, distinct roadways to current design standards and to complement the resort and its landscaping plans.

Improvements included roadway widening to provide bike lanes and constructing a new roundabout. The project also included storm drain installation, water main replacement, traffic signal improvements, sidewalk, and landscaped medians.

Project Highlights:

  • TYLin worked closely with the Town of Paradise Valley and Achen-Gardner, the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), to deliver the project.
  • Project construction was completed on-time and within budget.
  • The town’s gateway entrance, Lincoln Drive, was designed to Town Visually Significant Corridor design standards adopted during the design process.
