Jeremy LaHaye, P.E., Named 2017 ASCE Outstanding Civil Engineer Practitioner Advisor

T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized, full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces that Jeremy LaHaye, P.E., TYLI Senior Bridge Engineer, has been named 2017 Outstanding Civil Engineer Practitioner Advisor by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), San Diego Section. ASCE Individual Awards recognize members for outstanding achievements or leadership in civil engineering, or who through their work, support and advance the profession. LaHaye was honored for his guidance and support of the ASCE Student Chapter at San Diego State University (SDSU) in California.

A TYLI bridge engineer since 2005, LaHaye has extensive experience in structural design, including major bridge and surface transportation projects. His projects include serving as Project Manager for the San Elijo Lagoon Bridge Replacement and Manchester Avenue Direct Access Ramps (DAR) in Encinitas, California; overseeing the independent design check for the new California Incline Bridge in Santa Monica, California; and serving as a designer and specification writer for the Iconic Scioto River Pedestrian Bridge in Dublin, Ohio.

LaHaye is currently serving as a TYLI Project Manager for the Newhall Ranch Road Bridge Widening in Santa Clarita, California, and the El Portal Pedestrian and Bicycle Rail Undercrossing in Encinitas, California. LaHaye received a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from SDSU.
