Sajid prides himself on being a compassionate leader with a proven history of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. He is actively engaged in expanding the business into new geographies as well as introducing cutting-edge technologies.
Sajid is a leading expert in the design and analysis of long-span bridges, including cable-stayed, suspension, arch, and concrete segmental bridges.
Sajid earned his PhD from the University of California at Berkeley with emphasis on the design of cable-supported bridges. He did his research under the guidance of a highly respected professor of bridge design and engineering, and a good friend of our founder, Professor T.Y. Lin.
Sajid’s portfolio of work for the firm spans the globe, and ranges from network arches to concrete segmental and cable-supported bridges. His mastery of segmental design and construction is evidenced by projects such as the award-winning Skyway component of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge New East Span and the New Benicia-Martinez Bridge, both located in high seismic zones in California.
