T.Y. Lin International Hires Hayden R. Gellineau, P.E., as Group Leader - Transportation for the Atlanta, Georgia, Market

T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces that Hayden R. Gellineau, P.E., has joined TYLI as Group Leader - Transportation for the firm’s Atlanta, Georgia, market. Gellineau will oversee transportation marketing and business development holding lead responsibility for preparing fee proposals and negotiations with TYLI clients, directing and managing projects, managing project teams, supervising direct reports, and training and mentoring assigned staff.

Gellineau comes to TYLI with over 25 years of civil engineering experience, including holding senior project management positions in the private sector. He most recently served as Traffic Operations Division Manager for the Douglas County Department of Transportation in Douglas County, Georgia. In that role, he directed the daily operations of the Division, including departmental staff, budgeting and the annual allocation of funds, and emergency operations. He was also responsible for maintaining relationships with key transportation management partners of the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), neighboring county governments, intra-County governments, public safety officials, and school systems. His projects include GDOT- led Capital Improvement Programs to include intelligent transportation system (ITS) expansion throughout Douglas County and traffic signal improvements on the SR 6 corridor.

Hayden’s skills, reputation, and strong local relationships will be instrumental in our meeting that goal.”

A registered Professional Engineer in Georgia, Gellineau earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from the Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta. He is certified as a Worksite Erosion Control Supervisor (WECS) with the GDOT Office of Construction and a Level II Certified Design Professional with the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission (GSWCC). He is also certified for the GDOT Plan Development Process (PDP).

Gellineau is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the American Council of Engineering Companies of Georgia (ACEC Georgia), the American Association of Highway Engineers (AAHE), the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO), and the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE).
