Andrew Dohrmann
Andrew’s political and transportation policy and funding expertise stems from over a decade working in Congress on federal transportation issues. While working in the United States Senate, he was a primary author and negotiator of the last two federal surface transportation bills, the FAST Act in 2015 and MAP-21 in 2012.
Andrew closely interacts with transportation stakeholders, agency leaders, and elected officials to advance state and local legislative and political agendas.
He is a nationally recognized transportation expert in his role as key author and negotiator of federal transportation law, and has broad experience with external affairs through his public speaking roles and his support of media and community relations. He uses his federal transportation expertise to assist agencies in developing strategies and funding packages that look at diverse funding and financing options.
