Niagara Falls State Park Transformation Project Featured in Civil Engineering
Dennis Kennelly, P.E., Jack Buholtz, P.E., and Lynn Williams from T.Y. Lin International's (TYLI) office in Rochester, New York, worked with editors at the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) to publish an article on the Niagara Falls State Park Transformation Project for the March 2020 issue of Civil Engineering magazine. “Niagara Transformed,” the issue’s cover story, highlights the innovations and success of the $65M capital rehabilitation project.
This includes the intricate scheduling that allowed the park to remain open throughout the five-year construction; the unique team collaboration that facilitated onsite design adjustments to maintain the project schedule; and the state-of-the-art technology incorporated into the designs. The project has earned several major awards and garnered much publicity for TYLI.
