Master's degree in Civil Engineering with 20 years of experience in structural projects at both national and international levels, with a particular focus on the design and certification of structures for renewable energies, especially wind energy, both onshore and offshore, as well as other types of unique structures.

He is a specialist in numerical analysis, nonlinear analysis, dynamic analysis, and fatigue analysis of concrete and steel. Carlos is a member of the UNE CTN140/SC2 subcommittee "Design of Concrete Structures" responsible for drafting the new Eurocode 2. He is also a member of several working groups and of Commission 3, "Construction," of ACHE (Spanish Association of Structural Engineering). He has authored numerous technical articles, co-authored several monographs and books, and has participated as a speaker in various conferences related to structural engineering.
