Jenna Bresler
Jenna believes that a well-rounded engineer is someone who finds passion both inside and outside the office.
Bringing personal experiences and interests to the job allows for a more universal understanding of engineering and gives designers the ability to look for opportunities and solve challenges in creative and exciting ways.
Jenna Cellini Bresler first joined TYLin in 2008 as the firm’s fourth Fellow for Preservation Engineering, working alongside the National Trust for Historic Preservation as their in-house structural engineer. Upon completing her Fellowship, she returned to TYLin’s NYC office and worked on a wide variety of new and existing buildings. In 2018, she opened TYLin’s Ann Arbor, MI office, bringing along her extensive experience in both new and existing construction. Jenna’s project experience ranges from educational and institutional, to performing arts and parks, to private residential and mixed use and development.
Career highlights include being project manager for the restoration of Michigan Central Station from 2018 – 2024; structural engineer for the design of the College of Holy Cross Prior Performing Arts Center, Worcester, Massachusetts; concept designer and lead for the flood mitigation project at the Farnsworth House in Plane, Illinois; structural engineer for the renovation and adaptation of Old Quincy Hall (now Stone Hall), Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
