José Javier Valero
Experienced Civil Engineer with Expertise in Transportation Infrastructure and Leadership in Multidisciplinary Projects Across the Public and Private Sectors
Civil Engineer with a distinguished career that began in production roles, including Project Manager and Group Leader at a construction company. In 1999, he joined the Instituto Cerdá, where, over twelve years, he held various senior positions in logistics and distribution consulting.
In 2002, José Javier joined TYLin, initially as Head of the Transportation Planning Department and later as Director of the Studies and Projects Division. In these roles, he has led a multidisciplinary team responsible for developing infrastructure projects, including roads and highways, railways, and port works, for both the public and private sectors. His extensive experience includes deep expertise in the railway sector, where he has managed and directed studies and projects for conventional railways (passenger, freight, and mixed traffic), high-speed rail, metros and trams, as well as intermodal and multimodal terminals and stations.
In 2003, he also contributed as a guest lecturer in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses, sharing his extensive experience and knowledge with students and professionals in the field.
