Ricardo is a Panamanian civil engineering graduate from Catholic University Santa Maria la Antigua (USMA) in Panama also holding a MSc. from University at Buffalo, State University of New York, majoring in structural and earthquake engineering.

Prior to joining TYLin in 2012, Ricardo participated of the structural design of high-rise buildings with a Panamanian structural engineering firm.  With TYLin, Ricardo has been involved in the design of major infrastructure projects in Panama such as the Cinta Costera Phase 3, the Panama Metro Line 1 and Line 2. Also, on the owner’s side he was the engineering lead for the Technical Advisory of the 4th Crossing bridge over the Panama Canal.

Since Jan 2022, Ricardo has been responsible for leading the operations, project delivery and business development for TYLin in Panama.
