Sara is an experienced structural engineer with a passion for mentoring staff and collaborating with the other members of the design team.

Sara Steele joined the firm in 2001 and was promoted to Principal in 2017. Her project experience ranges from new construction to adaptive reuse and historic preservation; recently completed major projects include new facilities for multiple colleges and universities. Sara’s other projects range from cultural facilities to numerous townhouses throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn to private residences in upstate New York and the Hamptons to sculptures and other special structures.
