His experience spans the full spectrum of structural engineering. From boutique consultancies to full-service A-E giants, Tom has been fortunate to work on everything from historic buildings to high rises. He has acted as Structural Engineer of Record for a variety of projects, including high-Risk Category structures such as schools, emergency shelters, fire stations, and aviation facilities.

As co-leader of a TYLin | Silman Structural Solutions studio, Tom brings his broad engineering knowledge to both his projects and his team.

Tom has been recognized by the Air Force Reserve for his outstanding support as an employer, and by the Moles Foundation and the American Society of Civil Engineers for his scholarship.
