T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces that Jennifer Lott, P.E., TYLI National Rail and Transit Marketing Coordinator, has been named 2017 Member of the Year by the Atlanta Chapter of Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) International. This award, which is voted on by all chapter members, acknowledges a WTS member who has made extraordinary contributions to the success of the organization. Lott received the Member of the Year award at the WTS Annual Scholarship Luncheon on October 26, 2017, in Atlanta, Georgia.

An active member of WTS Atlanta since 2012, Lott recently served two terms on the Board of Directors as both Treasurer and Secretary. Lott is known for her passion for the engineering profession, and for inspiring and promoting women to excel in the field.

Certified as a Professional Engineer in the State of Georgia, Lott joined TYLI as a Transportation Engineer in 2013. Her projects for the firm include the State Route 120/Kimball Bridge Road Widening in Johns Creek, Georgia, and the Butner Road/Stonewall Tell Road Dual Roundabout in Atlanta. In 2016, she was promoted to TYLI National Rail and Transit Marketing Coordinator.

Lott received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. She is also an active member of the Atlanta chapters of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) and the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS).
