T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces that Sharon Berger, Esq., CCM, has joined TYLI as Group Leader for Construction Management Services for the firm’s office in New York City. In her new role, Berger will be responsible for group leadership, project management, and business development efforts.

Berger comes to TYLI with over 17 years of experience in providing construction management services for a broad client base in New York, such as Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), the Mayor’s Office of Housing Recovery Operations (HRO), and the New York City School Construction Authority (SCA). Her extensive background includes working with local city and state elected officials, as well as federal coordination with HUD. Services provided include on-call construction management, environmental consulting, development of technical specifications and standard operating procedures, campus security design and construction, sustainability and resiliency implementation, and general contracting.

Berger received a Juris Doctor and a certificate in Environmental/Construction Law from Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York, and a Bachelor of Science in both Industrial Management Engineering and Electronic Media Arts and Communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. She is a member of the New York State Bar, the New York County Lawyers’ Association - Construction Committee, and the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA).
