TYLin Acquires Tunnelconsult Engineering to Bolster Services for Europe and Latin America

TYLin is excited to announce the acquisition of the consulting and engineering firm specialized in underground works, Tunnelconsult Engineering, based in Barcelona, Spain. The acquisition was carried out through GPO Group, A TYLin Company. This move will serve as a catalyst for TYLin’s operations in Europe and Latin America.

Tunnelconsult was founded in 2014 by the engineer Nicola della Valle, one of the directors of the first phase of the works for Barcelona Metro's L9 tunnel. The company has 53 employees and works in around 40 countries. Its annual turnover is approximately EUR 4 million, with about 80% of the business generated internationally.

TYLin is also represented in Europe by IDEAM, A TYLin Company, based in Madrid, specializing in bridges and complex structures with 80 employees and an annual turnover of EUR 9 million. GPO, Tunnelconsult, and IDEAM will work independently but seamlessly coordinate on project delivery.
