T.Y. Lin International Announces New Central Region Leadership
T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, is pleased to announce new leadership in the Central Region with the naming of TYLI Vice President Paula C. Pienton, P.E., S.E., as Central Region Director and Daniel B. (Dan) Drew, P.E., as Vice President, Chief Civil Engineer. Paula and Dan will continue to provide the highest level of infrastructure services to our clients in the Central Region.
Paula C. Pienton, P.E., S.E., Vice President and Central Region Director
Paula C. Pienton, P.E., S.E., has been named as Central Region Director and will be responsible for managing the firm’s office in Chicago, Illinois. With more than 30 years of professional experience, Paula is respected industrywide for her project leadership. In her expanded role, Paula will oversee infrastructure projects for all modes of transportation throughout the Central Region. Paula’s deep technical expertise includes rail and transit engineering and planning projects, capital planning and programming efforts, engineering and inspection services, and construction management. She has played a pivotal role in the strategic planning efforts for TYLI’s Rail and Transit market sector, as well as serving as Project Manager for major infrastructure programs.
Daniel B. Drew, P.E., Vice President and Chief Civil Engineer
Daniel B. (Dan) Drew, P.E., has been named Vice President. Dan will continue to serve as Chief Civil Engineer for TYLI’s Chicago office, where he is responsible for project management, preparation of contract documents, and agency coordination for complex projects in the Rail and Transit and Surface Transportation sectors. Since joining TYLI in 2009, Dan has demonstrated dedication to providing exceptional quality, service, and technical excellence to our clients and the industry at large. Most recently, Dan was chosen as the Civil/ Track Lead in the Chicago Transit Authority Phase I of the Red and Purple Modernization project. He leads the TYLI team in delivering Preliminary Engineering services for the $1.9B project.
