Tom is passionate about designing healthcare facilities.

He understands the far-reaching effects that well-designed spaces can have on quality of care, patient outcomes, and workflow efficiency. His overarching goal is to design spaces with the end user in mind, making sure there is a level of efficiency and ingenuity baked into each decision that allow owner and architect to realize the vision which ultimately benefits the people we serve.

While Tom’s designs and project management are most often focused on healthcare facilities, his project portfolio is truly diverse. Many of his projects are LEED Gold certified, including the Krause Gateway Center, a showpiece office building that is a structural and architectural marvel in Des Moines, Iowa; the 730,000-square-foot New York Police Academy at College Point, Queens, New York; and the new 90,000-square-foot Laboratory Medicine Building at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York.
