NYSDOT Regional Transportation Management Centers
As part of a team, we are working to staff and operate the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Transportation Management Centers for Regions 1 (Albany), 3 (Syracuse), and 4 (Rochester).
Depending on the TMC, we employ a Systems Engineer and/or a Field Technician. The Systems Engineer is responsible for managing the network systems, providing hardware and software support, supporting field-related operations, and addressing any ITS/communications system issues. The Field Technician is responsible for the field maintenance and operation of all ITS, camera, and radio equipment. These staff work with others in the TMC to allow NYSDOT leadership to focus on enhancing the quality of the regional driving experience.
