T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces the successful completion of TYLI's first-ever "BUILDing Bridges In Our Community Week" (BBC Week). BBC Week was designed to connect TYLI offices and employees with local communities where they live and work through a day of service. Running from September 27 to October 1, 2021, BBC week events took place across the Americas and ranged from cleaning parks and shorelines to building a 3-D concrete house. TYLI offices also formed partnerships with organizations that varied from small grassroots groups to large nonprofit organizations.

More than 25 TYLI offices participated in BBC Week, collectively volunteering hundreds of hours to participate in a day of service that made a meaningful impact in their community. This opportunity also laid the foundation for building lasting relationships - or "bridges" - with their neighbors, local organizations, and fellow employees.

BBC Week is the most recent initiative from TYLI's BUILD Task Force, an employee-led group established in 2020 to help the firm gain a deeper understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Here are the results of TYLI’s first annual BBC Week:
