TYLin is providing detailed design, tendering, contract administration, and inspection services for close to 6.5 kilometres of 600-millimetre transmission watermain from Eberts to Kent Bridge Road in Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada.
The project also requires a trenchless crossing of five municipal drains or creeks and new connection chamber for the new watermain at the Eberts Booster Pumping Station. The new watermain will provide additional water supply to existing and expanding greenhouse facilities in the area, as well as future development.
TYLin’s design also includes hydraulic modelling and a review of construction methodology and watermain material type.
- Scope of work includes a public open house to ensure seamless connections between the technical work, stakeholders, residents and impacted local organizations.
- The watermain will expand servicing for greenhouse supply and future development in Chatham-Kent, geographically one of the largest municipalities in Ontario, with an area of 2543 square kilometres.
- The project will be completed by The Municipal Infrastructure Group Ltd (TMIG), now doing business as TYLin.
