Large Area Night Maintenance Shelter (LANMAS)

The Large Area Night Maintenance Shelter (LANMAS) showcases new textile technology advances that produce high-pressure airbeams, which can replace metal frames for rapid deployment and reduce weight for overseas military arenas.
In addition, these high-pressure systems have no metal components and are neutral for radar applications. TYLin's Lightweight Structures Group designed and engineered this structure using a 30-psi internal pressure for the US Army Natick Soldier Systems Center. Based on years of testing, the air-inflated tubes used an internal bladder system and maintained 90% inflation pressure after one year.
