Miami-Dade County Shared Mobility Study

Miami-Dade County, FL
A bus in Miami-Dade County

TYLin was retained by Miami-Dade to help the County envision the future of public transportation in the area.

The firm was tasked with developing recommendations for integrating emerging shared mobility solutions into the planning and development of the six corridors of the Strategic Miami Area Rapid Transit (SMART) Plan. These corridors include the South Corridor, Kendall Corridor, North Corridor, East-West Corridor, Beach Corridor (Miami Connector Project-Miami to Miami Beach), and Northeast Corridor. This study will evaluate how shared mobility, autonomous vehicles, and emerging technologies should be harnessed in the coming years to inform development of the SMART Plan and to advance the overall mission of providing safe, reliable, equitable, and sustainable public transportation for Miami-Dade County.
