MTA Fleet Assessment

The project team is developing charger load profiles based on the levels of service dispatched from two bus depots, including modeling state of charge based on current schedules. A rate analysis will be conducted to determine the best rate schedule for bus charging, focusing on potential benefits from off-peak charging. The team will also evaluate the feasibility and cost-benefit of using traction power supply for the charging equipment at the depots. The findings of the assessment will be synthesized into a final report outlining approaches to energy management, potential capital investment and alternative scenarios.
