MTA Zero-Emission Fleet Transition Plan
TYLin is supporting a team that is developing MTA’s zero-emission fleet transition strategy and implementation plan.
The plan will meet MTA’s goal of a full transition to zero-emission buses by 2040 and will entail upgrades to accommodate bus charging at 28 bus depots. TYLin is leading the resiliency planning, working with MTA to identify resiliency scenarios that the agency must be prepared for, identifying potential resiliency solutions for each scenario, and then modeling associated bus charging plans. TYLin is also co-leading the project-wide schedule modeling and depot charging analysis to support infrastructure planning. In addition, TYLin is leading a series of workshops across all areas of the project to elicit MTA stakeholder input and co-create project recommendations
