Spotify Camp Nou, FC Barcelona Stadium
This is an ambitious project aimed at transforming the original Barça stadium into an open, spacious, covered, comfortable, and accessible venue.
Adapted to current times and the needs of the people, the new Spotify Camp Nou stadium includes a focus on customer experience, cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and integration with the city through its open façade and surrounding plaza.
FC Barcelona awarded TYLin with the Project Management services for the design and construction of the Spotify Camp Nou stadium. Camp Nou, classified by UEFA with the distinction of "Elite Stadium", had a capacity of 99,354 spectators, making it the largest stadium in Europe and the third largest worldwide. The renovation will increase this capacity by more than 5,500 seats, reaching a total capacity of approximately 105,000 spectators with all the comforts and amenities, including two VIP rings between 2nd and 3rd tier, as well as other VIP hospitality facilities.
The entire project has been designed with a comprehensive sustainability perspective, aimed at enhancing the facilities and adapting them to modern times to obtain a sustainable, smart, and green stadium that harnesses water and solar energy from the roof and the use of geothermal energy, aiming at LEED Gold, BREEAM Excellent, RIBA Net Zero Carbon qualifications.
