TYLin supported Hackman Capital Partners on a new mobility/TDM study for the $1.25 billion modernization of Television City. Since CBS Television City opened in 1952, the lot has been home to many beloved CBS programs, including The Carol Burnett Show, The Ed Sullivan Show, Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud, Good Times, All in the Family and currently The Price Is Right, The Young and The Restless, and The Bold And The Beautiful. The modernization evolves the production facilities with modern capabilities for the streaming era. We led the mobility planning at the site, working with the design team to create a multimodal mobility hub, improve pedestrian and bicycle access from the neighborhood to the site, support on ingress/egress into the site, and a TDM plan to limit traffic impacts and make the site forward-compatible with the upcoming extension of the LA Metro Purple Line.
