University Of Chicago Multimodal Plan

TYLin is assisting the University of Chicago’s Campus Planning and Sustainability Unit, in partnership with the Office of Transportation and Parking, in the creation of a multimodal transportation plan to get the University’s 40,000 students, faculty, and employees to campus more efficiently and enhance their mobility options.

As the University of Chicago continues to grow within a spatially-constrained environment, there is an increasingly urgent need for smart strategies to curb car usage on campus. Using private and public data sources, we are modeling individual travel patterns and behavior for the UChicago population and employing market segmentation practices to develop tailored recommendations that will maximize the impact of the University’s investments.
