TYLin Supports Beyond Buildings Report

TYLin Supports Beyond Buildings Report

TYLin is committed to a sustainable future. In collaboration with our parent company, Dar Group, and partner brands Integral Group (now Introba), Perkins & Will, and Currie & Brown, we joined forces with the World Green Building Council to develop the Beyond Buildings report to identify opportunities where the built environment could deliver the changes needed to meet the commitments of the Paris Agreement, an international treaty on climate change, adopted in 2015.

Integral Group’s Director of Global Sustainability, Richard Palmer, was an integral part of authoring the report, as well as presenting it at the #BuildingToCOP26 Cities and Built Environment Forum.

“The built environment is such an important part of addressing both the causes and impacts of climate change,” explains Richard. “This report highlights the opportunities between buildings and infrastructure to accelerate climate action at the scale and speed demanded by science.”

The report advocates for the development of a framework of principles that can accelerate sustainable performance, integrating them into every aspect of our projects. Our industry needs to support change, ensuring that we work together with our industry peers to deepen our clients, communities, and investors understanding of the benefits of taking immediate action.
