A respected mentor and champion of diversity, equity and inclusion, Clark Fernon is the Business Transformation leader for Global Infrastructure.

Clark has held leadership roles for significant rail and transit projects in the Southwest District. These include the California High-Speed Rail program and the Mid-Coast Light Rail Transit project for SANDAG, serving as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) and he is the Principal-in-Charge. The $2B project includes 11 miles of new double tracking, nearly half on elevated viaduct, with nine stations, extensive retaining walls, and other project features. 

In addition to managing TYLin’s Roads + Highways practice in the Americas, he oversees the firmwide Architectural and Visualization Group, which specializes in architectural design, renderings, and animations for complex bridges and other transportation projects. 

A registered Professional Engineer in California, Clark previously served as a Director of the San Diego Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and is a member and past President of both the San Diego & Imperial Counties Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) and the San Diego Transportation Development Association (SDTDA). He earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Civil Engineering from Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey.
