Grant Strategy
Preparing and writing a strong grant application is an art and a science.
It is the science of understanding and meeting (or, when advantageous, exceeding) the specific application requirements of the grant program, whether in terms of the data, quantitative or qualitative analysis, or maps and other imagery. But grant preparation is also an art when it comes to stitching together a compelling narrative that “sells” the project or program seeking funding. This element of the grant application is what sets certain applications apart from others, and it requires the ability to articulate and emphasize the themes that align with the priorities of each particular Federal and state grant program.
