Based in Singapore, Niëns will help establish and lead the direction, strategy, and growth initiatives for the region, as well as oversee business development, client service, technical and operational excellence, people, and safety initiatives. TYLI Group’s Asia Pacific Region includes 2,100 professionals working on projects across China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

T.Y. Lin International Announces Completion of BART Silicon Valley Phase I Extension

T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces that the new Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) extension from the Warm Springs Station in Fremont, California, to northern San Jose has opened as of June 13, 2020. TYLI, in a joint venture as lead designer, provided engineering design services for Phase 1 of the $2.3 billion project. The firm worked with the lead agency, Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA), and BART on design review and approval for this design-build contract.

The "Queens Ribbon" - A New Bridge for the Millennium

The “Queens Ribbon,” a concept design for the first new bridge to Manhattan’s central business district in over a century, was unveiled today by a consortium of NYU Tandon School of Engineering, T.Y. Lin International, and Sam Schwartz Engineering. The pedestrian-bicycle bridge would connect Queens to Manhattan.

T.Y. Lin International’s Joe Yesbeck, P.E., Senior Vice President and National Director of the firm’s Rail and Transit Line of Business, recently joined Railway Age Editor-in-Chief William C. Vantuono and Steven Abrams, Executive Director of the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (Tri-Rail), for a podcast on the Tri-Rail-TYLI partnership responsible for bringing the commuter railroad’s right-of-way to a state of good repair. TYLI is an active member of the Commuter Rail Coalition (CRC), who spearheaded the interview. The CRC works to engage and educate stakeholders on the value of commuter railroads to the communities they serve.
