T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces that three TYLI projects won 2020 Engineering Excellence Awards from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). The Samuel De Champlain Bridge in Montréal, Québec, Canada, was selected for a National Grand Award. TYLI served as the managing partner of the design joint venture for the 2.1-mile bridge over the Saint Lawrence River and Engineer of Record for the signature cable-stayed bridge spanning the Saint Lawrence Seaway. The North Atwater Non-Motorized Multimodal Bridge project in Los Angeles, California, for which TYLI provided construction engineering and significant design support throughout construction, and the Joliet Gateway Center in Joliet, Illinois, with TYLI serving as Project Management Consultant, were both honored with National Recognition Awards.

Three T.Y. Lin International Projects Win Roads & Bridges' 2020 Top 10 Bridge and Top 10 Road Awards

The Dublin Link (Scioto River Pedestrian Bridge) in Dublin, Ohio, ranked #2 for Top 10 Bridges, with TYLI serving as Prime Consultant for the final bridge design. The Interstate 5 High Occupancy Vehicle Improvement Project between State Route 55 and State Route 57 (I-5 HOV Improvement Project) in Santa Ana, California, took the #9 position for Top 10 Roads. The firm served as Prime Consultant for the final design of the complex highway project. The Navy Pier Flyover in Chicago, Illinois, ranked #6 in the list of Top 10 Bridges, with the firm providing professional construction engineering services for the project.

T.Y. Lin International Wins Detailed Design Engineering Bid for Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge in the Philippines
T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces that TYLI has won the bid to provide the Detailed Design Engineering (DED) for the new Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge in the Philippines. The US$ 59 million contract was awarded to a joint venture of TYLI and the Republic of Korea’s Pyunghwa Engineering Consultants, working with Switzerland-based Renardet and the Philippines’ DCCD Engineering Corporation. The project includes a 32.15-kilometer-long, four-lane, cable-stayed bridge that will cross the Manila Bay and connect Barangay Alas-asin in Mariveles, Bataan, and Barangay Timalan, Naic, Cavite. The DED phase for the landmark bridge will be carried out over the next 15 months.
