Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces that the new Brookfield Floating Bridge, which crosses Sunset Lake in Brookfield, Vermont, has won two industry awards in New England. The project won Best Highway/Bridge Project in the Engineering News-Record (ENR) 2015 Best Projects New England competition, which honors top projects in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The Brookfield Floating Bridge also received a 2015 Special Recognition Award for Engineering Excellence from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Maine.

The award-winning projects include Tilikum Crossing, Bridge of the People, in Portland, Oregon, for Long Span and Cable Stayed Bridges (spans of 400’ or greater), the Caijia Rail Transit Bridge in Chongqing, China, for Mass Transit/Rail Bridges, and the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge New East Span Skyway for Long Span and Cable Stayed Bridges (spans of 400’ or greater).
Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall Wins 2015 Urban Redevelopment Authority Architectural Heritage Award in Singapore

The firm’s Singapore operations, T.Y. Lin International Pte Ltd, and its project partners accepted the award at the 2015 URA Architectural Heritage Awards ceremony on October 19, 2015 at Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall. Guest of Honor at the ceremony was Singapore’s Minister for National Development, Mr. Lawrence Wong.
T.Y. Lin International Announces Completion of Kenneth F. Burns Memorial Bridge in Massachusetts
T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces the successful completion of the new Kenneth F. Burns Memorial Bridge (Burns Bridge) in central Massachusetts, which was marked by a dedication and bridge lighting ceremony on November 1, 2015. Part of a design-build team led by The Middlesex Construction Company, and working closely with the project’s lead design engineer, Fay, Spofford & Thorndike, TYLI provided design services, bridge architecture review, and the independent design check for the bridge replacement project. The new Burns Bridge opened four months ahead of schedule and represents a signature initiative of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' historic Accelerated Bridge Program.
T.Y. Lin International to Provide Construction Management and Engineering Services for Sixth Street Viaduct Replacement Project in Los Angeles, California
T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces that the City of Los Angeles Department of Public Works has awarded a contract to TYLI to provide construction management and engineering services for the development of the Sixth Street Viaduct Replacement Project. The new signature viaduct bridge will replace the existing Sixth Street Viaduct, which was constructed in 1936, and connect the City’s Arts District on the west side of the Los Angeles River and the historic neighborhood of Boyle Heights on the east side.
