T.Y. Lin International Wins Five 2013 Communicator Awards for Marketing Communications Excellence
T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, has received five 2013 Communicator Awards from the International Academy of the Visual Arts. With over 6,000 entries received from across the U.S. and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. TYLI received three Communicator Awards for the redesign of its TYLI Group website (www.tylin.com), including an Award of Excellence in the Visual Appeal category and Awards of Distinction in both the Professional Services and Home Page categories. Additionally, TYLI received two Awards of Distinction in the Print and Design Discipline, Business-to-Business and Company Overview categories, for the firm’s “Global Partnerships for Local Infrastructure” corporate brochure.
Veterans Memorial Bridge Wins AGC Maine 2013 Build Maine Award
The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Maine awarded Reed & Reed contractors a Build Maine Award in the Bridge division at a ceremony held on April 11, 2013. T.Y. Lin International and Reed & Reed were teamed on this design/build bridge replacement project which opened to the public in June 2012.
Craig J. Chatelain, P.E., Hired as Sacramento Unit Manager for T. Y. Lin International’s Northern California District
T.Y. Lin International (TYLI) is pleased to announce that Craig J. Chatelain, P.E., has joined the firm as Unit Manager for the Sacramento office of TYLI’s Northern California District. As Unit Manager, Chatelain will assist in building the Sacramento practice and will be responsible for its daily operations, including project performance and delivery, client services, business development, quality assurance, resource management, and staff development.
Four T.Y. Lin International Projects Win National American Council of Engineering Companies Awards
T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, was honored with four national awards from the American Council of Engineering Companies. The Taijiang Bridge in Sanming, Fujian Province, China and the Lowry Avenue Bridge in Hennepin County, Minnesota won Honor Awards. The Rose Creek Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge in San Diego, California and Capturing the Bayonne Bridge in 3D project in Bayonne, New Jersey won National Recognition Awards. Known as the “Academy Awards” of the engineering industry, the annual Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) competition recognizes preeminent engineering accomplishments from around the world. TYLI accepted all four awards on April 23 at the EEA Gala in Washington, DC.
T. Y Lin International Announces Completion of the City of Chicago’s North-South Wacker Drive Reconstruction Project
T.Y. Lin International (TYLI) announces the completion of the three-year, $303 million reconstruction project of one of the City of Chicago’s most crucial roadways - the north-south segment of Wacker Drive and the Congress Parkway interchange. TYLI was the engineering design firm responsible for Phase I Preliminary Design and Phase II Final Design Engineering Services for the Wacker Drive interchange with Congress Parkway, as well as the Wacker Drive viaduct from Congress Parkway to the Adams Street intersection.
