Lin International (TYLI) announced today that the Hoover Dam Bypass/Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge project was named the winner of the 2012 Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement (OCEA) Award for superior engineering achievement from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). TYLI engineers led the design of this landmark span, which now complements one of the foremost engineering wonders of the world: Hoover Dam.

Oakland Touchdown Detour Project Completed Ahead of Schedule
T.Y. Lin International (TYLI) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Oakland Touchdown Detour (OTD) project. As the prime design engineer, TYLI provided full services from developing the basic concept to delivering final design plans and providing construction support—all over a period of 12 months. Design was sequenced from the foundation upwards to expedite construction for the contractor.
