The New Champlain Bridge over the St. Lawrence River in Montréal, Québec, Canada, ranked #1 in the Roads & Bridges Top 10 Bridges of 2018. TYLI is serving as Lead Designer and Managing Partner in a joint venture for the fast-track bridge replacement project. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces that Intissar Durham, P.E., TYLI’s Vice President and Aviation Group Leader for the West Region, was profiled by Women Transportation Seminar (WTS) International. The WTS article explores Durham’s deep experience with leading aviation projects from both sides of the table for over 30 years. Before joining TYLI in 2015, Durham worked for Los Angeles World Airports for 26 years, first as Senior Project Manager and then as the industry’s first female Chief Airports Engineers, a position she held for more than a decade.
Maine Veterans Memorial Bridge Featured in Civil Engineering Magazine
ASCE’s Civil Engineering magazine recently published a story about the new Veterans Memorial Bridge in Portland, ME. The $65-million bridge was a design/build project awarded to contractors, Reed & Reed. T.Y. Lin International (TYLI) served as the lead design engineering firm for the team.
