T.Y. Lin International’s Tricia Quan Kep Honored as Professional Women in Construction’s 40 Under 40 Outstanding Women in Construction
T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces that Tricia Quan Kep, TYLI Business Development Manager for the firm’s New York and New Jersey markets, has been named one of Professional Women in Construction’s (PWC) 40 Under 40 Outstanding Women in Construction for 2020. Each year, PWC’s list highlights women under the age of 40 in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry who are excelling in their careers and respective PWC chapters.
Quan Kep will be recognized at the virtual PWC 40th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, December 10, 2020. PWC is a national nonprofit organization that seeks to support, advance, and connect women and promote diversity within the AEC and related industries.
An immigrant from Trinidad and Tobago, Quan Kep started her career as a receptionist for a New York-based Minority Business Enterprise/Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (MBE/DBE) engineering firm before joining TYLI in 2018. She is an experienced professional with expertise in business development, project management, marketing, public affairs, community outreach, and public policy. In her role as TYLI Business Development Manager, Quan Kep excels at determining strategic long-term marketing goals and maintaining extensive knowledge of market conditions.
Quan Kep is also a core member of TYLI’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Advisory Group. The DEI Advisory Group is developing and promoting concrete actions to foster a company culture built around embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Quan Kep received her certification in Construction Management from Pace University in New York and is a member of Pace University’s Design Thinking Advisory Panel.
Along with her active role with PWC, she is also a member of industry organizations such as Women Builders Council (WBC), WTS International, the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), the New York Building Congress (NYBC), and the Metropolitan Railway Club of New York.”
