Atmosphere Kolkata
TYLin served as the mechanical and electrical engineering consultant for the development of Atmosphere, a luxury condominium complex in Kolkata, India.
Atmosphere, located on three acres of land, comprises two residential towers with 80 single-story and two-story units, as well as a dramatic sky bridge suspended between the two towers on the 34th floor.
The sky bridge or Deya (meaning “cloud” in Bengali) is a suspended bridge structure constructed 122 meters above the ground between the two residential towers. Spanning a 5110-square-meter area over three levels, it includes a gym, meeting rooms, spa, sauna, virtual golf, sports facilities, and a jogging track, as well as an infinity pool on the top level.
TYLin worked closely with other project consultants on a range of details, from space planning to internal design, enabling the development of a well-coordinated, integrated design.
TYLin also supported the client in the tender calling and evaluation process, overseeing contract execution and reviewing and managing approvals of all shop drawings and material submissions to ensure project requirements were met.
