With more than two decades of experience in the field of water and wastewater engineering, Kristin’s experience includes planning, design and construction of wastewater treatment plant upgrades and expansions, collection system improvements, and combined sewer overflow reduction projects. Her recent experience includes leading large, multi-million-dollar upgrades to meet Consent Decree compliance as well as upgrading aging wastewater treatment facility infrastructure. Ms. Comer also has experience in the feasibility and development of long-term control plans (LTCP), including financial capability analysis, flow monitoring, hydraulics, sizing, facilities, cost estimating, alternatives analysis, and collection system modeling. She has worked closely with clients and state and federal regulatory agencies to negotiate and implement LTCPs to reduce combined sewer overflow discharges as well as modify plans to reduce capital costs.
